We do like to be beside the seaside in Hyundai's i800
Some time ago I wrote about some of the odd things I have been sent as attention getters for press releases and launches.
This was inspired by Hyundai, who used to deliver a small Christmas tree every December, handy at that time of year, sending a knotted hankie to promote the launch of the i30.
Clearly someone in the Hyundai press office has something of a holiday obsession.
Now they have sent out a single pink flip-flop.
This is confusing.
If this encourages me to respond to their invitation to take the family to the seaside in the new eight-seat i800, do I find the matching sandal inside or do I hop to the lapping waves?
And if hopping is the only option does this make it a fli-flip or a flop- flop?
Answers on a postcard.
