Not such a good idea, number 345.
Ever wanted to contact a stranger seen in a car, asks Webcraft Computer Services Ltd? Er, no.
Apparently thousands, if not, billions of people ‘almost meet’ every day.
Well, many of us almost win the lottery but simply have the wrong numbers.
Now you can text a car registration number and be put through to the driver’s mobile phone.
Nick Anderson, for the company, said: "Our service is for anyone who has wanted to contact that person in the next car. Thousands of people 'almost meet' every day exchanging glances and smiles in traffic jams or at the traffic lights. Now they have an opportunity to contact each other by simply sending a text to a car registration number".
People can register their car registration number and text messages sent to the registration number are forwarded to their mobile.
It will also appeal to road-rage prone morons who want to shower you with insults and I would imagine some men with strange interests and stimulations.
"Privacy is protected as mobile phone numbers are not divulged and the service can be terminated at any time," says Mr Anderson.
Oh, that’s okay then.
