Round up of the day's breaking news
New Hyundai estate
The new Hyundai i30 Estate is based on a stretched platform extended by 50mm, and as a result is a more flexible, family-friendly package. And with prices starting at £12,995, the new i30 also beats the opposition for value and equipment.
Aimed at the family and leisure motorist who doesn’t want the compromises of an MPV, the i30 Estate boasts more rear leg and headroom than the hatch, along with a bigger boot and a lower loading edge.
Infiniti outlets
Infiniti, Europe’s newest luxury brand, has announced its partnership with some of the leading names in the European premium automotive retail sector, in preparation for its entry into the most competitive market in the world.
The first European Infiniti Centres will open their doors in nine countries from October 2008, including the major markets of France, Spain and Italy.
Charity support
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe is supporting one of the UK’s biggest off-road charity events this year as 4 x 4 enthusiasts aim to raise more than £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The “Mac 4x4 takes place from 7-9 March and challenges off-roaders from around the UK to take on a 1000-mile trek across some of the country’s most challenging and breathtaking terrain. The 2007 event raised an incredible £108,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and this year, with the 60 entries filled within just 10 days, organisers are aiming to raise even more.
