Skirting the question

Posted by Steve Orme on June 5, 2007 11:02 AM |

Entertainment at the forthcoming UK Truck Show includes the return of the mighty BTRA Sprint Cup, featuring race truck drag-racing action over 100mph.
Up to 20 British Truck Racing Association teams will compete at Santa Pod Raceway near Wellingborough in Northamptonshire on Saturday July 14 and Sunday July 15.
Weighing in at around 6 tonnes, these trucks perform spectacular wheel-spinning burnouts, and can accelerate faster than a Porsche 911.
This thing is, if this is drag racing do the truckers wear ladies’ clothing and foundation garments of a floosie nature?
I was only asking.
